Why one strap?
At Rana Golf, every design decision is intentional. The choice to use a one strap system on our toddler golf bag is not about cutting costs or simplifying production. It is about creating the best possible experience for young children starting golf.
Made for independence
Toddlers are just beginning to build confidence and coordination. A one strap golf bag allows them to carry their gear by themselves. They can slip the strap over one shoulder, pick up the bag without help, and walk freely. This small act of independence encourages pride and keeps the game fun.
Designed through real testing
In the early design stages, we tested several double strap prototypes. No matter how we adjusted them, the bags hung too low on the body. They would land between the hips and knees, making it hard for a child to walk comfortably. More importantly, toddlers found it difficult to get the bag on and off by themselves.
A single strap solved these problems. It allowed for easy carrying, better balance, and full autonomy.
Simplified for a reason
Golf bags for toddlers do not need complex systems. They need to be functional, intuitive, and supportive of movement. The one strap is wide enough to stay in place but light enough for comfort. No extra straps. No confusing adjustments. Just a clean design that works.
A better fit for young golfers
Our one strap bag is not a downsized version of adult equipment. It is purpose-built for kids between the ages of three and six. Every element—from strap length to overall bag weight—was tailored to help young players carry, walk, and swing without interference.
